Young ?

I assume it was a weekend FOR young traditional Irish musicians. :) Great line up of tutors. Quite a lot on there that they've recorded before, though, but a good deal if you don't have any of the original recordings.

YIM

This is a recording from the festival of the same name in St Paul Minnesota. This festival focuses on young players - trying to get them tutelage from the best of the best.

This recording is absolutely amazing. Even if you've heard these tune before or have other recordings of these tunes. This is a LIVE recording including the artists talking about expereinces, talking about the tunes, talking about learning and teaching the tradtion. It's a great CD.

And 100% of proceeds from the sale of this cd benefit programming at the Center for Irish Music, a 501c3 non-profit community music school dedicated to handing down the tradition in St Paul, Minnesota USA.

Buy it on CD Baby.
