A lovely duet album by two talented young musicians from Orkney. Sarah McFadyen was a past pupil of Jennifer Wrigley, and Kris Drever is now one of the most popular guitar accompanists and folk singers in Scotland. They play with several different groups, I believe.
I was disappointed when I got a copy of CD from Footstompin' Records. It doesn't come with sleeve notes as such: just a piece of xerox paper on which the musicians' names and track titles are printed. The disk itself is obviously store-bought. But the music is great.
Kris Drever plays the banjo on a couple of tracks. There're also some nice songs from him.
