Ross Ainslie (border pipes, whistle, cittern & highland bagpipes) hails from Dunkeld, Perthshire. A former member of the world famous Vale of Atholl Pipe Band, and has since toured with the late Gordon Duncan and performing in Ivan Drever’s band Clueless before playing with Flook!, Dougie Maclean and Salsa Celtica.
Jarlath Henderson (uilleann pipes, flute, whistle & guitar) from Dungannon, County Tyrone, is a three times ‘All-Ireland Champion’ uilleann piper, teaches music with the renowned Armagh Pipers Club, and has both taught and performed at a number of international piping festivals on television and radio.
I have just bought this recording, and nearly worn it out. It's exciting music, with arrangements of traditional and contemporary tunes. A delight for the ears.
