Although most of the songs are, of course, Christian hymns and such, the music is all traditional tunes such as The Musical Priest, Blarney Pilgrim, etc. And "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say" is sung to the tune of Star of the County Down. "Starkindler" was written by Michael Card and the tune, which he named "Planxty Garvin", was most likely written as a tribute to Wilbert Garvin (The Uilleann Piper who played on this album).
