A funky recording by a Cape Breton fiddler. As modern as some of Natalie MacMaster's recordings, so not a few conservative people will hate it. But the second track "Sleepy Maggy" featureing Mary Jane Lamond cannot be missed.
Fine trad fiddling in a very modern context... MacDougall's Pride is a lovely air... Beaton's Delight is a fine strathspey with something to wake up the headbanger in all of us... and Sleepy Maggie is brilliant...
Hi (TM) How Are You Today?
A funky recording by a Cape Breton fiddler. As modern as some of Natalie MacMaster's recordings, so not a few conservative people will hate it. But the second track "Sleepy Maggy" featureing Mary Jane Lamond cannot be missed.
