Rud Eile Album

My most recent production is entitled 'RUD EILE'- Gaelic for 'Something Different'. The principal musicians are Martin Butler, Colm O'Brien, Jerry Murphy, and Matt Glover. The Rud Eile album contains 17 classic tracks packaged in a unique glossy digipak with a twelve page booklet full of historical notes and images.

John Fitzgerald. Host and Presenter of WROL Radio's "Irish Hit Parade" writes: "This album is one of the few that could be said is a must have in all Irish music collections."

The recording features 24 musicians including:
-Aoife Clancy daughter of the late Bobby Clancy of The Clancy Brothers formerly of Cherish the Ladies.
-Andrew Harkin formerly of The Prodigals
-Declan Houton & Kevin Doherty the highly respected duo from County Donegal
-Amy Basse Leader of Bluegrass/Celtic band The Grasshoppers
-Johnny Towey of the famous music family from County Mayo and original member of Osna
-Patrick Murray Highly regarded Uilleann piper

The record is availible from www.rudeilemusic.com and Apple's iTunes Music store.

While I work at a 'big' studio in town, this production was done entirely in my home basement studio. I know there are many here who are working in similar environments and I would love to discuss this album and home production techniques with any who are interested.

Cheers,
-holbrook
