"Saith Rhyfeddod: Cico Nŷth Cacwn"
Fflach, 1993 ~ C104G
Musicians: Ceri Matthews & Jonathan Shorland
Cerimatho: http://www.thesession.org/members/display/11816
“The music of Wales and Brittany was fused by Saith Rhyfeddod, (this recording being their first & before the vocalists joined in) a group –later- featuring the vocals of Essex, England-born and fluent Welsh speaker Julie Murphy and multilingual Breton singer Brigitte Kloareg. Accompanied by bagpipers Jonathan Shorland and Ceri Rhys Matthews, Murphy and Kloareg combined to create an extremely harmonic experience. Saith Rhyfeddod came together shortly after Murphy left the Albion Band, with whom she performed from 1990 to 1997.” ~ Craig Harris

Diolch Ceri, that did seem odd to me, it was a quote from a 'Craig Harris'... I like the AllMusic site, but not necessarily all the comments and assumptions... Who better to know, eh?

A later reincarnation ~ "Fernhill"
I did not submit these because they are primarily song-centric, but as 'Craig Harris' aludes to such chemistry, and for those that may find themselves here ~ and more together reviewers:

" ~ 'Whilia' is another fine recording from Fernhill, with excellent musicianship (Cutting's box playing and Matthews' piping being particularly enjoyable) combined with imaginative arrangements and structures carrying the songs which hold one mesmerised throughout." ~ Mel Howley
