Guitar. And he plays it beautifully. He was just here last week accompanying the singer Eilis Kennedy and impressed me very much with his playing. One audience member e-mailed me to say that Bill's playing was "perfect". He also plays a bit of flute and whistle - pretty well, but he's new at that and probably doesn't do it on his recordings.
