More recordings by Na Fili:
Tomas O Canainn on Uilleann Pipes & Vocals. From a Fiddling family, he is an Engineer to trade but also gives lectures at Cork University on ITM.
Tom Barry on Whistle. Tom, an All Ireland Champion, also plays Flute & Clarinet & teaches music in school.
Matt Crannitch on Fiddle. Learned his early Fiddling from his family in Rathduff, a village near Cork. Has won the 'Fiddler of Dooney' award.
Is a great Slow Air player.
Words for all the songs are included in the sleeve notes, a common thing now, but was it considered so in 1974 I wonder?
Dolphin Records 1974 DOL. 008
