We Have Met Together

Mick Moloney's first solo album, and the first Irish LP I ever bought. Much of it is double-tracked with Moloney playing mandolin, tenor-banjo and guitar. 9 tracks are songs, and I've marked them [s]. Although I bought the record primarily for the instrumental tracks, it's a good choice of songs as well. Track 9 is in Norwegian!

We Have Met Together

Although this was a solo album by Mick Moloney, there were other musicians accompanying him on the recording.
The line up was:
Mick Moloney: guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo
Friedemann(sic): guitar
Dave O´Docherty: flute, whistle
Dave Moses: bass
Ian Inge Rasmussen: guitar
Aly Bain: fiddle
Mal Whyte: bodhrán

My interest in this is that both Dave O´Docherty and Mal Whyte are good friends of mine, although I haven´t seen them for several years.
Dave is also an artist and lives near Boston, Mass.(US) and I believe he is active in the local Irish music scene.
Mal is an actor (he had a part in Braveheart) and an uillean piper. He lives in Dublin.
