Available from 1st October 2004 via Pay The Reckoning. Octave mandola, mandolin and tenor banjo are the main melody instruments. A quite "austere" album; very little backing apart from one or two tracks where a guitar grounds the slower tunes. The songs are unaccompanied. This will not appeal to anyone who goes for lush arrangements and "big" music. However if you're into honest, unassuming, direct music, you might well find that this takes your fancy.
