Like his other solo albums, he tosses together a mixture of Irish, Scottish, and a few originals. Of his four solo albums, this one definitely has more of a personal feel to it. Really just lovely stuff. After years of seeing him play an annual holiday concert with Helicon, it occurred to me that guitar and piano are not just backing instruments. He was the first guitarist (and still one of the very few) that I watch in awe when he plays. Really amazing stuff.
