This is a nice solo fiddle debut from Manus McGuire of the Buttons and Bows Fame. It vaguely reminds me of Celtic Fiddle Fest a bit.
It's filled with mostly with his own compositions, tunes written by contemporaries, and sources outside ITM. There are a few session tunes in there too.
I like the older feel of this album the Piano and the Upright Bass are a nice touch to some great fiddling. If you are one of those people who complains about newer bands and modern musicians playing too fast check this recording out.
