My Review

This is a very pleasing album. The tunes are played at a very relaxed tempo and I really like Charlie's accordion playing. Tracks 1-8 are duets on accordion and fiddle by Charlie Mulvihill and Paddy Reynolds with Felix Dolan on piano. Except track 2 which is a fiddle solo (with Felix) by Paddy. Tracks 9-13 are of James Keane playing box with Felix Dolan backing again on piano.

The original title for this album was "Sweet and Traditional Music of Ireland" and it was released by Rego Irish Tapes & Records in 1971. I think Atlantic Wave was the title given to its re-release in 1996. On the re-release, I think James Keane played different tunes so owners of the original 1971 release may have a different track listing.
