Produced and recorded by Micheal O Suilleabhain and Robin Broadbank, the recordings were made in 1993, February 19th & 20th during the Cape Breton Island Festival organised by the Traditional Music Society of University College, Cork. The event was a festival where the traditional music, song and dance of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, the Canadian Maritimes, was the focus of a four day festival hosted by the Traditional Music Society and the Music Department of UCC, University College, Cork.
