Music From Clare

I've posted this after a discussion about music from Co. Clare in the "Discussions" section. It's one of a pair of cassette tapes of recordings collected by Ciaran Mac Mathuna. I'll post a list of artistes later, and will also try to identify tunes on tracks 1, 9, 12 and 19. I'll also post the companion tape of recordings from Kerry.

Hi Kenny what date was it and who sells it?

Year...

1987, Michael, and the tapes were compiled from recordings held in the RTE Radio Traditional Music Archive. I don't know if they ever made it onto CD. I got the tapes from eBay. You could contact RTE and ask them if they still have any copies for sale. If not, get back to me.
