"Sully" recorded this in 1980, and several of his own compositions on this cassette tape have succesfully entered traditional Irish music circles, having been recorded by the likes of Liz Carroll and Michael McGoldrick. It was also available as an LP record, but I don't think it's ever made it onto CD which is a shame, especially since my cassette copy has snapped.
Guest musicians :
Kevin Barnard - guitar
Marian Flannery - flute & whistle
Tony Ryan - accordion
I should of course have said that the playing on this recording is excellent by all players from start to finish, and some of Sully's compositions here deserve to be better known. Most of them are in one of his tune books, which I'd recommend, if still available.
