this was recorded in 1977. I have the LP, but I have no idea if it has been re-released.
Brian Brooks- vocals, mandolin, bouzouki, guitar, whistles, recorder
Tony Demarco- fiddle
Dan Milner- vocals, bodhran, organ
Caesar Pacifici- 6 & 12-string guitars, bones
i will be happy to supply any other info from the liner notes on the album upon request, but i'm tired of all this typing right now.

I am not sure how Jeremy adds the links so I'll add to the comments.

The Song "Tibbbie Dunbar" is set here to an air called "Johnie McGill" by an Ayreshire fiddler of that name. the tune is curiously similar to The Black Rogue. The song "Brave Old Donnelly" is another version of the song "The Jolly Tinker" and is not set to the tune posted above. The band does play "Farewell to Ireland" as a fiddle break during the song "Jack orion" which is followed by Master Rogers"
thanks for the comments, Random_notes.
This was among the first trad Celtic records my wife and I bought. We got it after hearing a recording of their concert at the Augusta Heritage workshops in 1978. For several years thereafter, I checked every new catalog for a second album, but never saw one. About 8 or 9 years ago, we were at Augusta again and Tony DeMarco was teaching fiddle. I had the chance to ask him if Flying Cloud every made another, and he confirmed that they had not. Too bad; they did some fine music together. I particularly like their Jack Orion.
