This album uses old tunes from Reverend Patrick McDonald's 1784 Collection of HIghland Vocal Airs.
According to the liner notes, many of these are both songs and dances.
Skye Dance and Harris Dance were the only titles given to many of the ancient tunes, so they appear more than once in the same set sometimes.
