A pal gave me this album after I visited Wales, some years ago.
I learned a couple of the tunes, and have played them in a variety of places around the northwestern U.S--including a couple of tribal casinos! Good tunes do travel far.
I think Huw Roberts wrote the tune 'Byth Adra' BA for short. It means never home! I wish Cilmeri and 4 yn y Bar's tapes were reissued as cd's. I've contacted the company 'Sain' a few times but there's been nothing forthcoming as yet.

Another formation that includes three of these musicians.
These two, "Byth Adra" & "Henffych Well", are amongst my favourite Welsh recordings...

Me too, I've pestered them off and on, there are a number of early Welsh recordings that it would be nice to see reissued... I live in hope...
