amhrán

From west Donegal, I now live and work in Dublin.

Was lucky to grow up in the era of Planxty, Clannad (near neighbours), De Danann and the Bothy Band and Altan. Their magical powers of playing made a complete "folk freak" of me to the point where I wouldn't listen to anything else. Could at one time explain in great detail who played what instrument on each track of every album!

Still enjoying the music.
