griffith

I live in south Louisiana and have listened to/played bluegrass music for nearly 40 years, mainly 5-string banjo. About 2 years ago I started on mandolin, completely quit the banjo, and one day at a bluegrass festival for some unknown reason started playing the first part of the Irish Washerwoman. It must have been a sign. I now play about 25% Irish-65% old fiddle tunes-10% bluegrass, swing, jazz.
