I'm from Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. I play keyboards, melodica, melodeon; also some guitar and recorder. I began learning the piano when I was eight years old, and progressed to guitar and pipe organ. I taught myself to play the melodeon in the early eighties, after joining Victory Morris Men, where I am now Lead Musician. I have also played synthesizer (and later melodeon) in a barn dance band. My main Folk/Morris instrument is a Hohner 'Pokerwork' D/G melodeon, although I also have a Hohner Corona III A/D/G for Barn Dance and a Castagnari Dony D/G for fun! In order to learn Irish tunes I need either the music in G/D/A or my keyboard(s)!
