I've been playing Irish Music for almost 20 years and currently play fiddle (primarily) and uilleann pipes (occasionally). My SO plays flute and guitar. I'm pretty much a purist when it comes to traditional music (and most other things) - I like the pure drop as it were. Favorite fiddlers are James Byrne, Tommy Peoples, and Paul O'Shaughnessy; favorite piper is Robbie Hannan.
My username comes from one of my other favorite hobbies....
