My real name is Janek. It used to be my nick on TheSession for a number of years, but I've made so many enemies here by trolling and treading on people's toes that I've decided to change it to something obscure and start afresh, with a clean scorecard. So if you somehow guessed that it's me, please keep it to yourself. It's a secret between me and you now.

I used to play backing guitar for a few years (DADGAD), and am an intermediate flute player, still struggling with some fundamental technical problems.
I used to play in two Irish music bands in Poland and was actively learning in festivals, workshops and sessions in the west-coast Ireland between 2004 and 2007, where I got a lot of good advice and met great people; I've moved out of playing in bands in January 2008, and stopped playing guitar in April, finishing my guitarista career with a nice touch - playing with a great group of Irish lads and lassies at a festival in Nord Pas de Calais, France. At the moment I'm still learning to play the flute, but it's very extensive - rather to provide me with stress relief after work than to lift me to perfection.
I play a Glenn Watson six-key, and can recommend Glenn to anyone. His Eb flutes are like a Ferrari.
