My real name is Janek. I live, work and raise my kids in Poland.
I used to play guitar for a few years (DADGAD), backing then solo, and am an intermediate flute player - incredibly talented of course, but still struggling with some technical problems.
Having moved on from Irish traditional music with my musical activities (apart from now-and-again session and an occasional gig to support my home budget), checking out TheSession is a sort of habit I can't seem to shake off. At least it's not bad for my lungs.
If you are somewhere near, give me a shout - there's a strong group of high-profile, quite unknown players around here, who are always up for a nice impromptu session.
