Mande-Mando

Budding mandolin and tinwhistle player, currently working in West Africa (hence the 'Mande' bit!). Although out of touch with any live sessions, my hope is to learn as much as possible so that when the 'big day' arrives, I stand a slight chance of keeping up with a few well-known tunes.

(June 05) Have been working on the fiddle for the past 18 months now and have even brought it out in public!

Anyone hunting a session in either Dakar, Senegal or Bamako, Mali?
