I will be 50 this year, and have just returned to playing "the music" outside the house , in local sessions, primarily J. Patrick's in Baltimore, MD, after being distracted with paying tuitions for kids, mortgages, etc. Started on the B/C accordian at 19 , have played trad on the chromatic harp forever. I mess with the mandolin , octave mando and tenor banjo, but have in the last year really focused on the C/G Anglo concertina. I am also beginning to read the dots , which has really helped me with the big picture of music in general.
This site is a great resource for learning the tunes and I thank all of you that have taken the trouble to submit them.
