I have been scratching a bow across a fiddle for about seven years. I regularly join a beginners/improvers session in Hexham where we play a mixture of northumbrian and irish music with some scottish music thrown in for good measure. I also sometimes attend an irish music session in Gateshead. I have been attending Fiddle classes for about six years with Folkworks, an organisation in the northeast of England.
