Flute player living just outside Washington DC. Pretty much self-taught (with help from attendance at WCSS and Boston College Gaelic Roots), I've been playing ITM since around 1992. Before the flute totally ate my life, I spent a lot of time dancing the sets and for about 10 years was one of the organizers of the Washington Irish Folk Festival (Glen Echo, Wolf Trap), sadly now defunct. When not playing, I spend time in the kitchen or at the day job - but the less said about that last one, the better. My ultimate career goal would be to retire as early as I can get away with it and move to Ireland. Maybe even open a B&B for wayward musicians passing through...
