Live in Bristol UK. Previously played guitar in non folk /trad context then discovered ITM sessions. For last few years - playing mandolin - and more recently learning fiddle (much harder!).
Lucky enough to live within about 20min walk of several sessions each week, all with very different characteristics (and characters !) From Scotsman and his Pack - (almost excusively ITM played pretty seriously and to a consistantly high standard), The Grapes, Clifton - Mondays (ITM included amongst 'anything goes' friendly fun session)
and a Friday night session - The Lion, Hotwells Bristol -friendly lively ITM session in a lovely pub -great way to start the weekend.
