I'm a graduate of UCC (BMus) doing an MA in Ethnomusicology there now. I play fiddle,from Ennis, Co.Clare. Teach at the Irish Traditional Music Institute (Newmarket-on-Fergus) >there I teach theory, Leaving Cert and Junior Cert Music grinds, piano and fiddle. I also teach fiddle at Clarecastle, and Grúpa Ceoils at Douglas (Cork) CCE Branch. I play with the Turloughmore Céilí Band (http://www.myspace.com/theturloughmore), Shaskeen CB. Also a member of rock band Cajole and Bully (http://www.myspace.com/cajoleandbully) and Daphne in the Attic (http://www.myspace.com/daphneintheattic). I write my own stuff too (http://www.myspace.com/meadhbhboyd) I occasionally write articles, tour, write arrangements for groups/recordings. Appeared on various tv: Geantraí, German, Japanese, French and Spanish programs.....RnaG, Clare FM, CCR, it's all fun :-) I'm kept busy anyway!
