Paul Dengate

I have played guitar for umpteen years, playing mainly English traditional music. Visited Ireland for the first time ten years ago and started getting to know and understand Irish traditional music. Regular visits to the Herschel Arms sessions in Slough and then the Ennis Trad Festival, finally made me want to start a purely Irish tune session locally (we already have quite a number of good English or general sessions). The Irish session at the Royal Oak Whatlington has now been running successfully for eighteen months. See also my web site, www.pauldengate.co.uk, for information about my audio recording services.
