I'm a fiddle player living in Brittany. Used to play with a group in South Wales called Diawled Y Mynydd in the 1990's with Adrian Smith ( octave mandola and mandolin), Carlton James (bass) Richard Griffiths (bodrhan wizzard) and Steve Porter ( Uillean pipes). It was great fun and if anyone knows where Steve and Richard are now I'd love to know.
Meantime I'm trying to learn to play properly! and enjoying a local session in the next village.
I also try to play the mandolin and whistle but not at the same time.
