Jacob McCauley is an award-winning Bodhran player (Toronto Fleadh Music Competition, March 2008 and Detroit Midwest Fleadh Music Competition, May 2008), is an active member in Celtic bands such as “Fig For A Kiss” and “WhirlyGig”, and is also an active session player. He has shared the stage with Celtic bands such as multi-award winning Irish band The Cheiftains, award-winning Scottish band “Lau”, award-winning Canadian band "Genticorum", Chicago-based duo “Bohola” and Toronto-based “Sproai”. Jacob is also an experienced Bodhran instructor; teaching at the Riverside Celtic College, giving workshops as well as teaching privately. He is currently in production of his first Bodhran Instructional DVD. He also plays the Stand-up Bass and Guitar.
