Thought my desciption was a little thin so here's a bit more about myself, in case anyone's interested. I'm from Scotland and started off playing the bagpipes. I didn't enjoy it to start with but when I started learning the whistle I found I enjoyed Irish and Scottish music but it was my own mastery of the instrument and lack of good tunes that was letting me down. I bought a set of small pipes when I moved to Glasgow for uni and have progressed on to the borderpipes, which are great for evening the odds in a fiddle based session or making a din (depending who you're asking ;) ...)
