My name is Joe Scott and I live near Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA with our three cats and four llamas. I play guitar, mountain dulcimer, and fiddle.
I learned violin when I was 10 years old, but put it down when I was 13 and didn't pick it back up for 35 years. That was two years ago (2007). The amazing thing was that my fingers still knew where to go on the strings. I am working on making the fiddle my primary instrument and I am trying to build a repertoire of country, folk, bluegrass, and irish tunes as well as building accuracy and speed in my playing. As you can see from my username, I am actually a high school physics teacher (although I also teach math).
