I'm a latecomer to fluting. Several decades ago I played some concert flute - at that time I was very involved with both English and Irish traditional music. But only got really keen on the flute a few years ago.
I grew up mostly near Birmingham (apart from seven years in Glasgow), spent six years in Hamburg and seven in West Cork, but am now in Sydney.
Favourite players would be people like Catherine McEvoy, Hammy Hamilton, Harry Bradley, Marcus O'Murchu.
