Zina Lee

I hate Pina Coladas....

Reticent but colorful goth goddess, web hacker, and patron saint of lost goat skins, 5 foot 8 inches with Schwarzeneggerian calf muscles and a penchant for molasses chewies a la mode (Hagen Dazs mocha pecan, please). Known to wear green velvet dresses and ghillies, but prefers mid-thigh black urethane spy coat with cinched studded waist belt, silver rear-zip knee boots (2.5-inch heels), and discretely blended platinum waist-length hair extensions. Enjoys rainy Sunday afternoons and eggplant souffle at the Small Circle Cafe, careening meticulously through an exhaustive Irish repertoire (Belles of Tipperary, Jackie Coleman's, and three nameless slip jigs) on a ruby red fiddle; also rumored to be proficient on whistle, low whistle, flute, button box, harmonium, and bodhran. Former So-Cal Regional Tambourine Champion (1981-1987) and judge (1985 to present) and honorary uillean pipe instructor at annual Camp Wannabe in Nederland. Happily married to Spiderman's secret identity, but active in the online County Mayo singles scene (Turloch, dear, email me if you want your black cable-knit sweater back...I've darned the cigarette holes, but the coffee stains just won't out).

(Many thanks to Will Harmon for making me sound more interesting than I am. Heh.)

P.S. I've been hit with the charge that my bio doesn't actually say anything about me. (Will wrote it as a joke, actually, not me.) It does, but all blown up out of any proportion whatsoever. If you don't get the various jokes, you haven't known me for very long, or haven't asked anything about me or my history, or haven't hung out here at The Session long enough, so better get started. ;)

The joke starts at the first word, because "reticent" is the exact opposite of me, and the next, colorful, is funny because goths are famous for wearing nothing but black, or grey, with dark purple or dark blood red being a distant option. And I'm not and never was a goth, just so you know.

My bio would get as long as Dow's if I explained all the jokes in this thing, so I'm not going to, because I don't talk as much as Mark does. Heh.

Suffice to say: I play the fiddle, not badly, but not so's you'd call anyone down to the pub if I sat in, either, and I live in Denver, Colorado, in the the US. Stop in for a tune any time.

Oh, yes, I'm female and almost exactly middle-aged. However, I make up for that in immaturity. :)
