Hi, I'm a box player (Piano Accordion) in a small three piece folk dance band and I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting tunes.
I'm based in Godmanchester, Cambridge, England and am currently involved in a new "Electric Folk Rock" band which is something of a new experience for me having only ever played accoustically.
I listen to most styles of traditional music encompassing players like Aly Bain and Natalie Macmaster to the extremes of bands like 'La Bottine Souriante'
Another of my interests is sound engineering (Unicorn Sound Systems), and although only an amateur, I like to think as a musician I can do a reasonable job. It never siezes to amaze me how unsympathetic so many engineers are to traditional music they appear to have no idea what the instruments are supossed to sound like!
