Susanne

Hi - I live in Wiesbaden in Germany but spend the summer months in the Black Mountains area in Wales usually.

I took up the harp a few years ago, at a rather ripe age and with no preliminary musical training, and mostly struggle on without the aid of a teacher.

Like many folk harpers, I play slow stuff and solo (O'Carolan mostly, of course), but blending into a session is one of my greatest aspirations. As playing actual tunes (reels and jigs) at session speed is way beyond my reach and will be for quite a while, I'm very interested in getting the chords of popular session tunes together.
