My name is Troy. I grew up in Kingston, Ontario but now I live in Ottawa, Ontario. Started playing whistles and fifes when I was about 4 or 5 years old. Added flutes to the mix when I was 8 and took conservatory classical lessons until I was 19. I've been involved in Irish music and dancing for as long as I can remember. It's taken me some wonderful places around the globe.
I stopped playing everything when I was 28; now, at 38 I'm coming back to it. It's coming back really quickly. At the very least my head doesn't feel like it's going to explode from the tunes not having an outlet.
I bought a Hammy Hamilton flute, and I've started down the spiral path of acquiring all whistles. :)
