I grew up in Wyoming. Dad was a 5-string banjo picker and he organized me and my brothers into a family bluegrass band. Me on the fiddle, a brother on the standup bass, another brother on the mandolin, and one more on the guitar. We were never professional quality, but we had fun, and played at local rodeo's and things like that.
Recently I discovered Irish traditional music. It seems like the whole genre of music was designed for the fiddle. Its great! There aren't any sessions within hundreds of miles of where I live, so I play for my own enjoyment.
I'm an engineer by trade, but I like to hike, read, and hang out with my kids in my free time.
