The funniest question I think i'm ever asked, or at least I laugh everytime I'm asked, is "What instrument do you play?" So here is the list: fiddle, tin whistle, button accordion, piano accordion, mandolin, concertina, piano, guitar and I also lilt. If that's not enough to keep me going at a session I am also a singer (traditional english and sean nos) and a dancer (set, sean nos and figure). But enough about me.
I play with my brother (flute, whistle, bodhran and bagpipes) and with my local Comhaltas branch as well as with the Connacht performance group Meitheal. With Comhaltas I am a member of the Comhaltas na nOg committee and have responsibility for organising sessions, practices as well as the odd public performance.
Obviously I live for trad music
