I am a 31 y/o guy living in beautiful central Iowa, USA, and have a passion for the fiddle and Celtic music. I enjoy long walks on the beach, puppies, sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace, and....oh sorry. I also have wrestled with the banjo, and have a bodhran in the closet just waiting for me to put the fiddle down. I am very interested in violin construction and repair, and although I consider my knowledge somewhat limited at this point (as well as my dollars and facilities), I plan to eventually do repairs and mess around with construction (what could be more fun?).
