Live in Wadsworth, Ohio with my wife and 5 kids. Just got a Mandolin on June 4, 2008 -- it's a blast! Been playing a recorder for the past year. Have had an interest in Celtic and Bluegrass music for a while, leaning towards Celtic, and over the past year picked up a plastic recorder we had bought for our kids about 10 years ago and started printing tunes from the session and playing.
I've been teaching myself music theory and how to play but will be taking music/mandolin lessons once a month at Wadsworth Music.
My 11-year old daughter, Hosanna, has been playing violin for a few years and we are really enjoying playing in the Ceili jam session on Wednesday night in Akron.
