I'm a history prof and folk musician from the Central Plains, USA -- mainly Kansas. I'm in a band called Rowan that plays a lot of Celtic music but also tunes from other European traditions. I mainly play cittern, penny whistle, guitar, and sing, but I'm getting a hurdy-gurdy very soon -- it's on order.
