Hello,
I'm an adult beginner on fiddle from the Midwest. I've been listening to and enjoying Irish music for about the last 10 years, and I finally got up the nerve to learn how to play.
It's been a slow process, but I'm pretty patient. I don't always enjoy the sounds I make, but I do really enjoy practicing.
My favorite bands include Enter the Haggis, the Elders, Great Big Sea, and the Saw Doctors.
