I'm Alec Hitchcock, Fiddle Player for a band in Newbury, Berkshire known as 'Mo Cairde'; also learning to play EMS smallpipes.
used to play for Reading Traditional Step Dance Group (Reading Cloggies) then Aldbrickham Clog. Been playing since I was 30 - now 62..a late start but still going strong. Mo Cairde is busy as a band with Ceildh's etc.
We have session 1st Sunday every month at 'The Four Points', Aldworth, Berkshire. Aldworth is little village 1/2 way between Newbury and Streatley on Thames. Musicians welcome! (8.30pm)
