Hi. Living in Vancouver, I play guitar, mandolin, plectrum and tenor banjos in a few
different groups focusing on traditional music. Banjo for a Border Morris Dance group;
guitar and banjo for an English ceilidh band; guitar and mandolin for a band playing
traditional French dance music; all three at sessions. I mostly play accompaniment for
fiddle, melodeons, and soon a hurdy-gurdy! I use ABC to learn tunes that don't come
easily to my ear and to write out notation for tunes that I want to introduce to band members.
